Warm greetings from Bursa, Türkiye! We were genuinely happy to hear that you would like to join Letters Across Borders. Your message made the distance between our two cities feel much smaller.
We are Rotaract Tophane, a group of young people from Bursa in Rotary District 2440. Since 1999, our club has mixed community service, learning, friendship and plenty of laughter.
We started Letters Across Borders because we believe the best international projects begin with knowing one another - not with long meetings.
Bursa was the first capital of the Ottoman Empire. Its historic centre and Cumalıkızık are on the UNESCO World Heritage List, while Uludağ rises just behind the city.
